Junior Embedded Developer in Halmstad

Do you want to develop technology that makes a real difference in people's everyday lives? In Halmstad, we are looking for a junior embedded developer with skills in C and Python who wants to work closely with the product and see their solutions take shape!

ABOUT THE POSITION

As an embedded developer, you will be part of a smaller, close-knit team of about five people where you work closely with colleagues in app development, electronics, and mechanics. You will work closely with the hardware in the products – for example, digital locks and medical cabinets – and be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle: from feasibility studies and sprint-based development to testing, production, and test automation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role means that you will work with the development, design, and testing of embedded software for innovative products and systems. The work includes, for example:

  • Development of embedded software in C, you will work with both new development and maintenance
  • Collaboration with hardware, app, and mechanics teams
  • Participation in architecture, design, implementation, and verification
  • Contributing to test automation and production-related testing in Python
  • Active participation in cross-functional discussions and technical decisions

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has 1–3 years of relevant experience, but we are also open to junior candidates with strong self-drive, project background, or hobby experience in embedded systems
  • Has a bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, software development, or a related field
  • Has good knowledge of C
  • Has experience with Python (meritorious, especially for production testing)
  • Has an interest in information security and an understanding of certification requirements (e.g., ISO)
  • Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
